hey, i just created this little useful cfg file. I'm trying playing with fov 90 for long range shots and 115 for normals... It seems to be working good lately, i m still trying it though. I also try messing with the Bobroll, bobpitch and bobup .. I still can't find the difference with the default one lol. Anyway, some of you might wanna try it. here it is
// fov.cfg //
set HiFov "cg_fov 115; set FovToggle vstr LowFov" set LowFov "cg_fov 90; set FovToggle vstr HiFov" set FovToggle "Vstr HiFov" bind Mouse3 "vstr FovToggle"
// end //

Bobroll is for screen for shaking screen when u walk - set it to 0 about other pb informs u what u can have and what u need to change and it's also offical site where it's writen what are the options u can change- also note that some things work only on some mods. like etc. salute- on default wolf u don't have it.... EDIT: dunno why u wont to switch betwen cg_fov doesn't it bother u when u are underfire that screen blink when it switches to other mode Well if it works for u then good but i found my size and (cg_fov 104) so i use it and am use to it P.S. PB doesn't disable nothing - it just inform u that u have to change it- if u don't it kicks u and every time when u connect with same problems it kicks u faster and if u're to stubern to change it, it perm ban u

oh thx for this little bob and pb lesson but anyway I still can't find the difference, so i ll put it to 0. I switch between fov for long range shots. It makes you see the enemies bigger when they are far. @luci, you can do the same with FOV 180, I know u use this for watching 2 doors

lol I have the same exact fov setting as Lo, 104 and set... why would you need to change fov in game? you watch one door, and listen to the other... the best way to look for far away enemies though is to watch for any direction muzzle flash, or movement... you can see movement from a long ways away, so you just aim to where the moving dot is going...
